The S.T.E.P.S. Young Women's Leadership Conference is a fun and unique opportunity for girls in grades 8 - 12 to learn skills that will give them an edge in life. The 2018 conference will feature keynote speaker, Shakia Seabrook, who will talk about turning challenges into strengths. There will also be activity-based sessions focusing on:
Admision for girls in grades 8 - 12 includes keynote address, two workshops, continental breakfast, and lunch. A limited number of scholarships are available upon request. Email [email protected] for scholarship availability.
Adult SessionA new adult-only session has been added for parents, guardians, administrators, educators, and organizations that work with youth. Adults are invited to learn the importance of having and being a role model with Dr.Leah Russack-Baker. Shakia Seabrook will help adults understand the power in sharing your story when working with youth.
